WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The People Solutions Advisory team is part of the Global People Solutions organization and supports all Nike, Converse, and Jordan employees through lifecycle HR events. The Senior Supervisor, Americas People Solutions Advisory will report to the Director, Americas People Solutions Advisory and work directly with Advisor Is and Advisor IIs. The Senior Supervisor will partner with People Solutions Readiness, Program teams, and COE teams to receive training and guidance to enable the launch of new or updated HR programs and services.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Senior Supervisor needs to have strong customer service, communication, and listening skills and a strong ability to deliver timely feedback and coaching. The Senior Supervisor should have knowledge of the People Solutions services and intersection points and be adaptable to different customer types and situations, using emotional intelligence and empathy.  The candidate should have strong innovation and analytical skills, the ability to multi-task and manage different issues at once by providing support over multiple, ongoing channels, a strong leadership presence and ability to guide and lead teams, and is driven by a highly-driven teamwork environment and collaborative culture.

  • 4-5 years of HR experience (demonstrating knowledge of HR management) or experience managing within a high-volume customer service team or contact center.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Bilingual – Spanish (preferred but not required).

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead a group of HR Advisors that deliver support to Nike Teammates and Managers through the resolution of inquiries regarding various HR topics. With a goal to support Nike Teammates through moments that matter, you will manage the service, speed, and quality of HR support provided through the People Solutions Advisory team and provide direct leadership to Advisor Is. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage PS Advisor I teammates and align with Director on management of Advisor IIs to ensure alignment across the team.
  • Coach and develop with a focus on direct reports but also for the full Advisory team.
  • In times of high volume or resourcing constraints, resolve HR inquiries via phone, chat, or email.
  • Facilitate cadenced 1:1s and performance reviews.
  • Build team engagement and drive clarity.
  • Partner with process owners for addressing gaps in knowledge or processes.
  • Own volume and resourcing forecasting.
