Job Description
Entain is on a mission to revolutionize the world of betting and gaming — and we’re looking for a top-performing Strategy professional to help shape the future of our CILA region.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, working for the VP of Strategy & Finance, who joined from BCG two years ago. The CILA region represents Entain's must-win high-growth markets, including brands such as Bwin, SportingBet, Sports Interaction and PartyCasino. You will own key projects across marketing, product, customer engagement & AI as we pursue continued market share gains. You will join a high-performing & expanding strategy team , with a track record of upwards movement within the organisation.
We're looking for current / former strategy consultants with strong analytical & influencing capabilities, and a desire to move fast and make an impact in a dynamic commercial setting.
This is an exciting role within a newly formed and rapidly expanding team with a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Strategic planning & execution: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning across CILA markets
- Market & competitive analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks
- Business performance optimization: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, finance, etc…) to identify and implement optimization
- Data-driven insights: Analyze data to derive business insights in order to guide strategic decision-making
- Thought leadership: Contribute industry knowledge, thought leadership and a growth perspective to the organization
- Strategic projects: Support high-visibility, growth strategy projects by conducting strategic analysis, financial modeling and synthesizing conclusions to be presented to internal executive leaders
- Stakeholder management: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support key business decisions
- Connect with broader org: Facilitate the flow of ideas and information within the broader company
Qualifications
- Strong undergraduate degree
- 7+ years’ experience in strategy consulting / in-house strategy roles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
- Knowledge and ability to apply business frameworks (e.g. value chain, competitive forces, core competency analysis)
- Proficiency in Excel & data analysis
- Proficiency in business writing and verbal communications, including delivery of presentations to executive business leaders
- Strong interest in the betting, games, media, technology, and entertainment industries
