Senior Specialist GBS GL

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

• Support team overall efficiency by identifying Improvement opportunities, realizing improvements, developing automation tools and even leveraging emerging AI technologies.
• Support team on reporting and analysis through power BI, ppt, etc., including monthly performance dashboard, Daily Management, BS analysis, etc.
• Supports organizational efficiency through the identification and communication of process improvement opportunities
• Ensuring execution quality of key responsibilities in the GBS Center

according to the requirements of GBS policies, procedures and guidelines, and according to the Group Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility (General ledger)

Key Responsibilities:

Process Efficiency

• Support Process Improvement via Automation (UiPath, Power Platform, etc.) for GL operation team
• Proactively identify efficiency improvement opportunities and lead overall design and landing
• Work closely with teams including but not limited to CI, GBS automation and process owner and SMEs to make sure the improvement opportunities are delivered.
• Support automation governance framework and ensure automation business continuity.
• Download efficiency initiatives from global teams and lead landing in Dalian
• Introduce and share Dalian good practices with global teams and help global team landing in their site

Performance Dashboard

• Support Market monthly operation review dashboard creation
• Support root cause analysis and action plan
• Support meeting minutes and follow up

Reporting and Analysis

• Support GL process analysis to identify productivity opportunities
• Support GL automation analysis, root cause analysis, improvement plan
• Support global KPI/SLA creation, root cause analysis and improvement plan
• Explore user expectations and perspectives to provide insights or analytics to existing reports

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good accounting knowledge

• Good knowledge on AI tools

• Good finance analysis skills to generate saving and pipeline opportunities with category insights
• Good skills in Power BI, and familiar with other visualization tool
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications, including Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Automate, Office script
• Good understanding and some experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism etc.
• Experience in Python or SQL is a plus.
• Have experience with RPA tool

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar function for BPO or SSC companies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
