OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE 

We are seeking an experienced and commercially strong Senior Sourcing Analyst – Global Technology Sourcing to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across global markets, with a primary focus on Technology, including both Software and Hardware categories.

This role requires deep expertise in IT Software, SaaS, Cloud, IT Hardware, and Technology Services , along with strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities in complex global environments.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing end-to-end RFx processes, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to partner closely with Global IT and business stakeholders to deliver cost optimization, supplier performance improvement, risk mitigation, and long-term value creation.

KEY RESPOBSIBILITIES  

Lead and execute global sourcing initiatives across:

Software & Digital Technology

• IT Software & SaaS (enterprise applications, subscriptions, renewals)

• Cloud solutions and technology platforms

• IT Professional Services (implementation partners, system integrators, managed services)

Hardware & Infrastructure

• End-user devices (laptops, desktops, peripherals)

• Servers, storage, and networking equipment

• Data center hardware

• OEM partnerships and reseller management

• Technology infrastructure components and related services

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with IT roadmaps, cybersecurity standards, infrastructure plans, and business priorities.

• Conduct market intelligence, vendor benchmarking, pricing analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments across hardware and software solutions.

Supplier & Commercial Management

• Lead complex negotiations covering:

  • Software licensing models

  • Subscription renewals

  • Hardware pricing and volume agreements

  • Multi-year contracts and framework agreements

• Manage supplier performance through SLAs, KPIs, governance reviews, and service credits.

• Support vendor onboarding, due diligence, and risk assessments (including cybersecurity considerations).

• Collaborate with Legal and Risk teams to ensure contractual compliance.

• Drive value realization and continuous supplier performance improvement.

Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted procurement partner to global IT and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Support global initiatives across regions and time zones.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, technology governance, and internal controls.

• Provide proactive management of renewals, demand planning, and contract pipeline visibility.

Data, Analytics & Insights

• Analyze technology spend data, contract terms, utilization trends, and savings opportunities.

• Develop dashboards, reports, and executive business cases using advanced Excel (required).

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.

• Deliver fact-based recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE  

• 7–10 years of experience in sourcing/procurement , with strong focus on Technology categories (Software and Hardware) .

• Proven experience managing complex global RFx processes and negotiations.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Software licensing structures

  • Hardware procurement models

  • Vendor risk management

  • Technology contracting principles

• Demonstrated commercial acumen and cost optimization expertise.

• Strong stakeholder management skills across global teams and senior leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, Economics, or related field.

• Advanced Excel proficiency.

• Experience with procurement platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, or similar tools .

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced global environment.
