WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced SCPI Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our SCPI Integration team, you will plan, create, analyze, and implement SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI) systems and supporting processes. You will be responsible for Onboarding new trading partners and responsible for testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting SCPI systems and integrations along with additional IT duties.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 9+ years of experience on SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI)
- 5+ years of experience on SCP API Management in developing custom and configuring out of the box APIs
- Extensive knowledge in building iflows for Synchronous and Asynchronous integration pattern with robust error handling using JMS and data store operations
- Extensive knowledge in designing and building complex integration/orchestration process for Heritage System/ECC, S4 Fashion, CAR and MDG with an understanding of SOAP, ODATA and REST APIs
- Experience in SuccessFactors, WorkDay and/or Ariba APIs and developing iflows using these APIs
- Extensive knowledge integrating third party/public/private cloud APIs in SCPI using various authentication mechanisms
- Experience using various adapters to SCPI inclusive of REST, SOAP oDATA, SFTP, JDBC/ODBC, JMS etc) as both a sender and a receiver
- Extensive knowledge in XSLT and groovy script which helps to transform the message in a canonical structure/ target structure
- Extensive knowledge in implementing security/traffic management/extension and mediation policies in API proxy based on different API consumer requirement.
- Experience in creating various APIM providers to support authentication mechanism
- Experience in DevOps and code management tools like Github and Jenkins to support CI/CD deployment for SCPI and APIM objects
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across different time zones
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
- Developing and implementing value mapping tables and integrating them with iFlows to enable seamless data transformation and mapping across different systems and interfaces.
- Designing and developing complex business rules using SAP Cloud Platform Business Rules, and integrating them with iFlows to automate decision-making and workflow processes.
- Building and publishing API proxies using SAP API Portal, and exposing API endpoints to consumers to enable secure and controlled access to SAP data and services.
- Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, drive business outcomes, and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Designing and building complex integration/orchestration processes for Heritage System/ECC, S4 Fashion, CAR, and MDG using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI), with a focus on synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, robust error handling, and data store operations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize integration requirements and developing solutions to meet business needs.
- Working with DevOps and code management tools like Github and Jenkins to support CI/CD deployment for SCPI and APIM objects
- Implementing Agile development methodologies, including iterative development, continuous testing, and continuous delivery
- Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, including technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, to ensure successful integration solutions.
- Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues and errors using SCPI's monitoring and logging tools
- Staying up-to-date with the latest SCPI features and releases, and applying knowledge to improve integration solutions and processes
- Ensuring integration solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation for integration flows, APIs, and data transformations
