Senior Software Engineer – ML Pipelines For Pro Sports

We’re now hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team helping to build Opta Vision: a cutting-edge platform delivering advanced post-match insights to elite football clubs and broadcasters. What you'll do:

• Architect and build core backend services in Python for our flagship AI-driven sports analytics platform.
• Own infrastructure across AWS & Kubernetes and drive cloud-native excellence.
• Integrate complex CV/ML pipelines at scale – and make them sing.
• Collaborate across squads to deliver reliable, scalable, and intelligent APIs.
• Lead by example through mentorship, architectural vision, and clean code.
• Constantly push the bar on quality, performance, and engineering standards.

What you bring:

• Deep experience building production-grade backend systems in Python.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
• Proven track record of owning large technical areas and driving initiatives to success.
• A love for fast-paced environments and solving complex technical puzzles.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked on ML or Computer Vision workflows and if you’re a football fan :)
