Full Description
Responsibilities
- Design and implement components of the consent management framework
- Build privacy compliance reporting and data retention management features
- Contribute to the data certification framework with configurable data quality validation rules
- Help develop data lineage tracking capabilities with column-level granularity for sensitive data
- Build and maintain APIs for integrating data quality, privacy, and governance tools
- Implement data classification and privacy-preserving transformation pipelines
- Work cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, and business teams
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers on data best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years focused on data platforms
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java or Scala
- Experience working with microservices and data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Airflow, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and their data services, preferably AWS
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker)
- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
- Knowledge of data governance concepts and basic understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA)
- AWS Certification is a plus (but not required)
