The Crown Is Yours
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the FinOps team, you will shape scalable, cost-effective cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP. You will help drive smarter budgeting, tagging, and reporting practices while championing a culture of financial accountability across the organization.
What you’ll do as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, FinOps
Build and maintain automation for cloud cost optimization using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Cloud Custodian.
Integrate and support cloud financial management tools (e.g., CloudZero, Apptio, native AWS/GCP platforms) to drive visibility and insight.
Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Data teams to support cloud budgeting, tagging, and cost reporting strategies.
Develop systems to detect and respond to cost anomalies across cloud environments.
Share best practices and foster a culture of financial accountability through documentation and internal enablement.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation in AWS and GCP environments.
Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby) and data formats like YAML or JSON.
Hands-on use of cloud cost tools and knowledge of FinOps practices such as cost allocation and forecasting.
Understanding of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Custodian) and scalable architectures (e.g., microservices, Kubernetes).
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
