The Employee Communications function is part of a strong team of Communications of Nike, Inc. in Greater China. We shape Nike, Inc. story to ultimately inform, inspire and connect our internal communities, map the employee engagement and stories to enhance employee pride, and connect leadership with employees to drive transparency, trust and confidence of our business.

We do this by cultivating authentic relationships with global and GC stakeholders, while creating engaging experiences and telling impactful stories to help our employees connect with our brand(s), purpose and products. We are looking for a senior professional communications who will work under leadership of the Employee Communications Director to drive the integrated engagement and storytelling mainly for existing and prospect employees.

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in journalism, PR, English, communications, business, or related field required.
  • 10+ years professional experience in campaign management, event management, executive communication, copywriting and content creation.
  • Strong writing and presenting skills in both English and Chinese; experience with
    video and social media is a plus
  • Strong capabilities to manage events and solid experiences to manage budget and agencies
  • Comfortable to work with leadership team as well as the employees to drive compelling storytelling through events, contents and messages.
  • Experience in developing proactive and compelling communications strategies.
  • A strong communicator and collaborator, and proven ability to communicate plans across a complex matrix on a corporate, global, and functional basis, including clearly articulating ideas, successfully handling different points of view and building strong relationships and rapport.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with a highly motivated team across Communications and other business functions, at both the Geography and Global level.

As the Senior Professional Employee Communications, you will partner with the Employee Communications Director, your peers in the Communications teams and key business stakeholders to develop and drive integrated employee communications programs across Greater China.  You will establish and strengthen authentic connections mainly with internal audiences across GC to shape Nike, Inc. as a cool brand, a great brand to work for and advance employees’ dedication to business growth, pride of culture, confidence of future - through clear, consistent, breakthrough athlete and sport storytelling that integrates brand, marketplace and product innovations. A typical week might include:

  • Conceptualizing and managing detailed project plans, timelines and executions for campaigns (like CIIE, employee lens), initiatives (such as Nike culture moment like Maxims Awards) and events (like All Employee Meetings, Athlete Homecoming).
  • Developing the creative content that inspires, managing the content partners to produce, and coordinating to publish internally and externally (when appropriate) to maximize its impact.
  • Developing and managing the network of employee influencers to drive co-creation of storytelling and diverse publishing.
  • Supporting the draft of leadership messaging, coordinating and delivering the messages.
