WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be joining the Men’s Running Apparel creation team, as a Sr. PLM. This person will report to the Sr. Director of Men's Running Apparel and will work closely with the Men's Running Footwear and Women's Running Apparel teams. In addition to collaborating with your triad to bring products to life, you will work with Geo and Territory Sales, Materials/Trims teams, Brand, Planning, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Finance along the product journey.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are hiring for multiple roles on the Men's Running team. Our group is seeking someone who is obsessed with making world class running apparel and understands what product excellence means.
An individual who has a history of effectively influencing internal and external partners. This person works collaboratively with others as part of a triad team, supporting efforts to achieve meaningful objectives and remaining connected to sports and sport lifestyle daily. They are expected to think ambitiously, overcome obstacles, innovate, and implement strategies to benefit the athlete.
The candidate needs to have heightened awareness of men’s fashion and performance industries/competitive landscape, a passion for Nike and men’s product, and confidence with verbal and written communication.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
Preferred degree in Marketing, Retail Merchandising, Business or related field
A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience
Proven experience in product-related roles
Product management experience and knowledge in performance apparel a plus
Leads with a positive collective spirit and creates a ‘one team’ environment across functions
Demonstrates the capability to effectively navigate unclear situations and establish a clear path forward for the cross-functional team in ambiguous circumstances.
Ability to communicate in consistent, clear, agile and timely manner with cross-functional partners - written and verbally
Strategic thinking with ability to balance elite athlete needs and unlock retail opportunities
Consistently looks at trend and cultural insights to help shape and understand the business
Acknowledges and celebrates differences to arrive at the best outcome
Leads by example and can hold team accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering quality work
Continually works on a growth mindset to open new ways of operating and learning.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
If this is you, you will manage and oversee the product creation for our elite to everyday running athletes. This is a high visibility role with both strategic and creative facets of the work.
You will lead product and design reviews, connect with merchandising at key strategy check-ins, participate in cross-functional meetings, create compelling visual tools to influence design, merchandising and our downstream geography partners.
Defining and driving a vision and product strategy that transcends the sport and drives energy at retail
Working with design and merchandising to enable clear storytelling all the way to our athletes and consumers
Partnering with sports marketing, Nike running athletes and consumers to gather insights and product approval
