Note: This role requires flexibility to collaborate across geographies and time zones, working with stakeholders in the UK and other global locations.

About the Role

We are seeking an proactive technical Product Analyst to join our growing AI & Automation team within Enterprise Technology. You will play a pivotal role in scaling AI adoption across the organisation by serving as the critical bridge between internal business stakeholders and our Enterprise Tech Delivery, Architecture and Engineering teams.
You will own the Technical Discovery process—taking high-level business problems from Flutter brands and functions such as Finance, Legal, Procurement, Tech and HR, and translating them into robust, platform-centric technical specifications. You will focus on how our AI platforms (APIs, model orchestration, and AI & Automation frameworks) can be leveraged to create scalable, secure, and high-impact and high-value internal solutions that can be shared and utilised across all Flutter brands and global divisions.

What You'll Do

Technical Product Discovery & Design

• PRD Ownership: Lead the creation of comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that translate business objectives into clear technical specifications for the engineering teams.
• Proactive Opportunity Mapping: Use your initiative to identify friction points within internal functions and propose AI solutions that address underlying technical challenges.
• Scalable Capability Building: Ensure stakeholder requests are designed as modular platform capabilities that can be leveraged across the entire global organisation , avoiding isolated or one-off solutions.

Communication & Strategic Reporting

• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain consistent, proactive communication with business leads and management, ensuring they understand the technical roadmap, progress, and how AI solutions solve their specific challenges.
• Product Value Reporting: Create and deliver updates to management on project outcomes, focusing on benefits realisation, productivity gains, and the strategic impact of platform features.
• Show & Tell Sessions: Lead product demos and showcase sessions for internal stakeholders to drive awareness, gather feedback, and encourage adoption of AI capabilities.

Technical Alignment & Delivery Collaboration

• Backlog Refinement: Own the "Definition of Ready." You ensure user stories are technically robust and logically sound, allowing the engineering team to focus on development without facing requirement gaps.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the technical solution aligns with their original intent, providing clarity on product value and functional trade-offs.
• Dependency Identification: Identify and document technical dependencies between the AI platform and existing internal systems to ensure smooth integration and prevent development delays.

Governance, Quality & Responsible AI

• Responsible AI Guardrails: Incorporate ethics, security, and privacy requirements directly into the technical product specifications by design.
• Validation & UAT: Define technical acceptance criteria and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the platform output is fit for purpose and achieves the intended productivity gains.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay informed on AI trends, platform engineering best practices, and agentic AI capabilities
• Contribute to the evolution of our operating model, engagement processes, and value frameworks.

About You

Essential:

• Self-Driven Approach: You are high-agency and proactive. You don't wait for instruction; you navigate the organisation to gather information and define the best path forward.
• Technical Product Background: 4-6 years of experience delivering platform or data-centric products You excel at translating ambiguous customer asks into tangible delivery tokens that can be handed off to engineering teams. You have shipped products to production and can demonstrate working knowledge of AI tools and platforms.
• Traditional Product Mindset - with AI Lens: You bring proven product management fundamentals and apply them through the lens of AI capabilities and constraints. You will leverage AI to maximise your productivity in your execution of the role.
• Tech Savvy: You are comfortable with technical concepts, tools, and emerging technologies, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams. You have working knowledge of Gen AI, large language models, and integration frameworks (deep technical expertise not required).
• Contemporary Knowledge: You stay current with industry trends, AI developments, and modern product practices.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: You thrive in rapidly evolving environments where agility, ownership, and adaptability are essential. You're comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the pace of change in the AI landscape. Ideally, you have experience from a startup environment, particularly one that has launched AI products in the last 1-2 years.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to understand how AI interacts with enterprise architecture. You are comfortable discussing data flows and technical constraints with Architects and Engineers. You can map value frameworks into tickets, ensuring clarity for delivery teams.
• Stakeholder Partnership: You are skilled at building and maintaining partnership networks with internal stakeholders, across different geographies and time zones, acting as the bridge between customer needs and product delivery. You excel in a partnering model, bringing fluidity to the process of passing partner asks to Engineering and other teams.
• Global Perspective: A passion for building "once for many," ensuring that features built for one part of the business provide value across the entire global organisation.
• Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work alongside Architecture, Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure high-quality product releases. You bring fluidity to the process of passing partner asks to Engineering and other teams.
• Communication: Outstanding skills in translating complex technical concepts for diverse internal audiences.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Strong time management and organizational skills to manage product development from discovery through delivery and adoption.
• Value Framework Orientation: Ability to map business value frameworks into actionable delivery tickets and measure outcomes against strategic objectives.

What Would Set You Apart:

• Experience with AI, automation, or platform engineering products (e.g., NLP, Gen AI, or agentic workflows).
• Familiarity with AI platforms, orchestration tools, or enterprise AI adoption such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to Responsible AI, governance frameworks, or AI ethics.
• Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, or product analytics platforms.
