WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the APLA Merchandising Ops Director, within the Consumer X Marketplace Operations team. The role primarily works with Merchandising team, while also engaging with DSM, Marketplace, and other Operations partners.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're seeking a Sr. Process Manager for APLA Merch Ops. As a merchandising operations expert, you will have direct responsibility to drive a collaborative, effective business, as well as lead the implementation of key strategic and business priorities across functions. As a critical part of the team, this person will work closely with Merchandising, DSM, Marketplace, and other Operations partners to drive initiatives and communication across all levels of our business.

Our ideal candidate can foster effective working relationships, drive clarity, instill trust and comfortably navigate ambiguity. They are adept at leading & facilitating projects and conversations, while also driving alignment and solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • 7+ years' experience in Merchandising or Operations
  • Deep process and operational experience, including familiarity with the CODE Process
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Strong communicator & collaborator
  • Passionate, curious problem-solver
  • Collaborative & strong communication skillset, including strong story-telling skills including PowerPoint and/or Keynote presentations
  • Ability to influence and facilitate at leadership levels
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and driving a team to clarity/results
  • Change agent/change management skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will work with the Geo Merchandising, as well as Consumer x Marketplace Operational partners to drive Merchandising process excellence and accountability as well as facilitate cross-functional alignment across teams within CODE moments. You will help with communication and information flow to drive clarity for a seamless and connected process, that delivers business results. You will lead the integration of new initiatives and tools.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Define and manage seasonal Merchandising processes, calendar and tools to support Merch Excellence, with special focus on Marketplace led activities
  • Partner with APLA Marketplace Merchandising, CODE, and Cross-Functional partners to plan, socialize, and execute seasonal deliverables and moments
  • Conduct seasonal reviews to drive constant improvements
  • Drive optimized use of our Assortment Tools (AV) across the Merch team, including management of AV access
  • Support implementation and identification of tools that enable the Product Creation team to create the world's best product
  • Support onboarding of new teammates on our process and systems
  • Represent APLA in future systems development and planning, and in Code Cohort seasonal execution team
  • Drive and deliver projects against key strategies & priorities
  • Ensure all deadlines are met on time, with impeccable results
  • Continuously seek out ways to improve process and capabilities of a multi-discipline team
