Senior Network Delivery Manager
Fixed Term Contract from September 2025 to Summer of 2028
The Role
Working closely with the Director of Mobility, this specialist role will plan, programme manage and facilitate the implementation of all aspects of Intercity Mobility.
What will you be doing?
- Strengthen and expand existing networks to build close and effective relationships with key stakeholders, including the Department for Transport (DfT), Great British Railways (GBR), Train Operating Companies (TOCs), Network Rail, British Transport Police (BTP), and other partners, service providers, and suppliers.
- Develop and implement a stakeholder management plan and engagement programme.
- Leverage strategic relationships to influence government policy on tournament rail operations, maximising opportunities created by GBR.
- Lead the development of the Mobility Strategy, ensuring alignment and integration with all levels.
- Collaborate with strategic stakeholders to develop and secure bespoke tournament service level commitments.
- Influence the development of a bespoke tournament rail timetable based on bespoke tournament demand forecasting, which delivers sufficient tournament capacity and is aligned with agreed service level commitments.
- Develop contingency and emergency operating plans.
- Work with the Mobility Team to establish and lead an effective and integrated governance framework.
- Support Local Delivery Structures in implementing transport and mobility concepts.
- Support the wider Mobility Team and other functional areas, demonstrating flexibility to meet changing priorities.
- Provide regular updates and report to senior management within the Local Organising Committee (LOC) and UEFA HQ on all aspects of the transport operation.
- Contribute to the development of a public transport ticketing and journey planning strategy, alongside other transportation demand management initiatives.
- Coordinate and agree on passenger handling and station management plans at all tournament-related transport hubs.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing are maintained.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in integrated mobility and transport operations for major events, preferably sport
- Established network of Level 2 stakeholders, including local and national governments and transport operators, with proven experience in effective collaboration and stakeholder management
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent project and programme management experience
- Project Management qualification – Prince II or equivalent
- Advanced MS Office Skills

Where is the role based?
Our head office is based at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, however depending on your role you may be required to travel across the UK and Ireland to our 9 Stadiums and 8 Host Cities, with some roles being based in those locations.
As an event delivery organisation, it’s important that we have regular time together in the office and currently employees come together at least 2/3 days a week at HQ in Wembley, with the number of days in HQ increasing as the project develops with a minimum of 3-4 days needed in 2026-2027 and full time in the year of 2028.
