Job Summary:

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of our brand activation efforts, responsible for developing and executing initiatives that enhance our brand presence and drive consumer engagement. This role is instrumental in developing our brand presence in conjunction with customers and partners across the world of sports and retail. Working across our wholesale, DTC and In-Venue channels, this role will support the sell out of Fanatics product and be responsible for our energy marketing and artist collaboration projects. This is an exciting opportunity that exists to put Fanatics at the centre of fan-culture across major sports around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Wholesale Retail Marketing Activation

  • Develop and execute wholesale retail marketing activation strategies to drive sales and brand presence across retail partners.
  • Lead the creation of compelling sell-in materials that communicate our brand's value proposition and product benefits effectively to wholesale partners.
  • Design and implement sell-out toolkits, including in-store displays, digital content, and promotional materials to support product sell-through and brand visibility at retail.

2. Energy & Artist Collaboration Program Management

  • Oversee and activate our energy collaboration program, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver unique, limited-edition products and experiences that resonate with fans.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, influencers, and external partners to bring innovative collaboration concepts to life, ensuring alignment with brand values and enhancing consumer interest.
  • Analyse market trends and insights to identify potential collaboration opportunities and optimize program success.

3. Packaging, Seeding, and Surprise & Delight Programs

  • Manage the development of packaging that reflects brand aesthetics and enhances consumer experience across various product lines.
  • Drive seeding initiatives and ‘surprise and delight' programs to create meaningful touchpoints with influencers, partners, and loyal consumers.
  • Coordinate with marketing, creative, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of seeding and gifting campaigns.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in brand activation, retail marketing, or related roles within sports, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated experience managing wholesale retail marketing, collaborations, and seeding programs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams and build relationships with partners.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of brand-building principles.
  • Passion for sports culture and a keen interest in current trends and consumer behaviors.
  • International outlook is critical with additional languages helpful.
