ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Marketing Executive is a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and campaigns while maintaining a keen eye for detail. With experience in digital marketing, content creation, CRM management, and data analysis, they can craft compelling marketing strategies that drive engagement and sales. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as they will work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and key stakeholders. A proactive, adaptable, and innovative mindset is crucial for success in this role, ensuring the delivery of impactful marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility and business growth.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management: Present potential marketing strategies for smaller events (e.g., Henley Royal Regatta) and execute agreed campaign ensuring alignment with digital media, PR, and social media strategies to drive B2B and B2C engagement.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan creative marketing campaigns across digital, social, and offline channels to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales for smaller events.
  • Creative Content Development: Assist the creation of compelling, high-quality content across websites, social media, blogs, and email marketing, ensuring consistency with brand voice, messaging and engagement goals to increase brand engagement.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Leverage analytics tools to track campaign performance, measure KPIs, and provide actionable insights, while maintaining event websites and engagement reports for stakeholders to optimise campaign performance.
  • CRM & Email Marketing: Support targeted email marketing campaigns using CRM systems, leveraging automation tools to enhance customer engagement and optimise direct marketing strategies.
  • Partnerships & Brand Management: Build and maintain relationships with brand teams, influencers, and partners to strengthen brand visibility and enhance strategic marketing efforts.
  • Agency & Supplier Collaboration: Brief and communicate with external agencies, designers, and creative partners to develop marketing assets to deliver high-impact assets on time and within budget.
  • Advertising & Digital Media: Identify advertising opportunities, liaise with suppliers, and oversee the execution of digital media strategies to maximise audience reach and impact.
  • eCommerce & Sales Support: Manage eCommerce platforms on WordPress, oversee inventory tracking for event-related products, and support the sales team with digital and printed materials to build an ecommerce sales function.
  • Internal Communications & Brand Reputation: Support the development of internal communication initiatives that reinforce brand identity, enhance company culture, and align messaging across teams to strengthen overall brand reputation.
  • Budget & Administrative Management: Plan event marketing budgets for smaller events, process POs and invoices, and complete approval processes to ensure cost-effective marketing execution within allocated budgets.

KEY EXPERIENCE

  • Marketing & Campaign Support: Experience assisting multi-channel campaigns, managing approvals, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Website & Content Management: Experience with CMS platforms, including WordPress, for website maintenance and content updates.
  • CRM & Automation: Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation systems such as MS Dynamics and ClickDimensions.
  • Digital & PR Experience: Some exposure to PR, PPC, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficient in data analysis and report writing, translating insights into actionable recommendations.

DESIREABLE COMPETNCIES

  • Project Management: Strong project management and organisational skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong proof-reading skills with keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and professional interactions with stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).
  • Proactive & Reactive: Ability to anticipate challenges and respond effectively to dynamic situations.
  • Enthusiastic & Driven: Passionate about learning and continuous improvement, with a drive to develop skills further.

A passion for sport would be beneficial but is not essential.
