WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Product, North America Local Creation Apparel. You will lead and develop a Product Line Management teamsettingclear expectations,expand capabilities, anddrivestrong execution and accountability across the team. This is aplayer/coach role, balancing direct ownership of product work with people leadership, mentorship, and team development.
You will also be a core member of the extended Express Lane leadership team, working alongside Product, Design, and Development leaders torepresentthe voice of theteam, shape operating models, and drive alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement across the NA Local Creation Apparel business.
You willworkwithin a dedicated Apparel triad, partnering closely with Design and Development, along with key supporting functions across theend-to-endproductcreation process. You will collaborate extensively with Global Product Creation teams, Merchandising, and Brand partners to alignlocalconsumer needs with global strategies, while delivering speed, clarity, and compelling product at scale for North America.
As the senior product leader within the triad, you will set the standard for operational excellence, continuously evolving tools, processes, and ways of working to improve how the team delivers. You will ensure product briefsare groundedin deep consumer truths, clearly articulated, and tightly aligned to seasonal priorities and broader strategicobjectives—enabling teams to move faster with greater confidence and focus.

This roleis groundedin the North America apparel consumer and accountable for leading the product creation process while managing and developing a team of Product Line Managers.

You arepassionateabout building and refining tools, processes, and frameworks that bring clarity, consistency, and speed to fastmoving teams, and youare energizedby creating strategic infrastructure in environments that are growing and evolving.
You bring a strong product point of view and remain hands on where it matters, while also leading, mentoring, and developing others. You set a high bar for operational excellence, ensuring briefs are focused, consumer led, and tightly aligned to seasonal priorities and broader strategicobjectives. You are aself-starterwho thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and adapts quickly in afast pacedenvironment.
You bring deepexpertisein the apparel product creation process, a strong understanding of consumer and marketplace dynamics, and the ability to communicate with confidence and credibility. YourepresentNike effectively in internal and external forums and are skilled at balancing the demands of driving both market share and mind share.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Merchandising, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education,experience,and training.
8+ years of relevant experience in apparel product creation, product line management, merchandising, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of the North America apparel consumer, marketplace dynamics, and product creation process
Proven ability to translate strategy into clear tools, processes, and ways of working that drive speed, focus, and alignment
Consumer centric mindset with a passion for apparel, sport, fashion, and culture, and the ability to turn insight into compelling product direction
Demonstrated experience leading others, including mentoring, setting expectations, and managing performance
Confidenceoperatingas a player/coach, balancinghands-onproduct ownership with people leadership
Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguity,operateproactively, and thrive in afast movingenvironment
Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability torepresentNike effectively with internal partners and third parties
Experience driving both market share and mind share through sharp product strategy and execution
Outstanding storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Abilityto travel up to 20%

Youwilloperatein a fastpaced, dynamic environment focused on delivering consumerled product at speed. You will lead the end-to-endproductcreation process, working closely with Design and Development to translate strategy and consumer insight into clear, actionable briefs and strong execution. In parallel, you will lead and develop a team of Product Line Managers, ensuring clarity of priorities,high standardsof output, and consistent delivery against strategicobjectives. This role requires comfort moving betweenhandsonproduct leadership and people leadership, as well asrepresentingtheteam’swork with confidence in internal and external forums.
