Full Description
Purpose
A key player in Product Development & Sourcing (PD&S) in driving to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Sustainable Supply Base in the industry. Drive the materials planning process for selected FTW materials by defining & aligning supplier portfolio strategy and driving the execution of the defined strategy through seasonal material allocations to drive the best service levels for adidas. Own and drive material availability in production phase to ensure all Materials-related Delivery KPIs are met in assigned FTW material types.
Key Responsibilities
- Define & align the T2 portfolio and allocation strategy for assigned FTW material typesto achieve best service levels for adidas through balancing key factors as agility, product excellence, cost competitiveness, sustainability, innovation and quality.
- Lead & drive the execution of defined portfolio and material strategy through the seasonal material allocation,in collaboration with relevant stakeholders from Product Development, Sourcing Operations, Materials Sourcing and T1/T2 supply partners.
- Provide strategic and pragmatic input/approach to strengthen materials supply re-allocation decisions in line with suppliers’ capacities and capabilities.
- Own the material forecasts and provide the visibility of assigned FTW material types to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure Materials-related Delivery KPIs of in-scope T2s meeting the targets of performance framework
- Proactively follow up andcontinuously driveimprovement for availability and agility during production, while optimizing operational efficiency in partnership with Material Operations, Sourcing Ops and Planning teams.
- Identify opportunities & bring forward proposals to optimize lead time and T2 supply base. Drive initiatives to enhance planning and allocation process & order managementto enable speed to market and responsiveness.
- Train, guide, and update Materials Operations team and T2s for changes on adidas policies, processes, and procedures to ensure they are fully compliant with adidas standards and operation requirements.
- Identify opportunities to develop leadership skills through coaching junior team members, stakeholders/counterparts and promote the culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Requisite Education and Experience
- University degree in supply chain management, business, or related fieldis preferred.
- 7+ years professional experience in supply chain management or manufacturing
