Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Manager, to oversee and manage the execution of Global Travel Retail (GTR) communications and activations for world renowned spirit brand. This role will serve as the primary liaison for our client, ensuring seamless project management and delivery of all global activations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, brand activations, marketing, and project execution within the travel retail or spirits industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for our client and internal Wasserman teams.
- Lead weekly status calls with key stakeholders
- Maintain and distribute status reports, project timelines, and contact sheets.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
Project & Account Management
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing activations, including design, production, and installation.
- Manage the development of the brand Playbook/Toolkit, ensuring timely delivery by June F26.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Support annual planning processes and contribute to strategy meetings.
- Manage the transfer and storage of brand assets from the incumbent agency.
- Conduct onboarding and induction activities, including campaign updates and market visits.
Activation & Campaign Execution
- Oversee and support the design and production of activation materials, including 2D/3D designs, digital screens, and in-store visibility assets.
- Manage multiple activations across Europe, IMEA, APAC, and the Americas, ensuring alignment with the brand's global campaign.
- Coordinate the brand Airport Activations, including design and shopper engagement concepts.
- Work with internal teams to develop scalable shopper engagement mechanics and promotional campaigns.
- Support the execution of TFWA Cannes event space design and project management.
Budget & Financial Management
- Track and manage budgets for assigned activations, ensuring compliance with agreed financial parameters.
- Ensure timely invoicing and reconciliation of project expenses in accordance with contract terms.
- Monitor and participate in quarterly fee reviews to align scope vs. actual work completed.
Market Research & Insights
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel retail marketing strategies, and competitor activations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize activations and campaign effectiveness.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in account management, brand activations, or client services within the spirits, FMCG, or travel retail industry.
- Strong background in project management, with experience overseeing multiple activations simultaneously.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial tracking for marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with marketing toolkits, omnichannel shopper strategies, and digital activation techniques.
- Experience working with creative teams, designers, and production vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with marketing asset management platforms (e.g., BAR+).
- Willingness to travel internationally for activations and market visits.
