(Senior) Manager Global Business Development (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Identify international business and market opportunities for SPORTFIVE (e.g., emerging sports, sports rightsholders, business models, geographical markets, products, and services)
• Take ownership of specific business development focus areas and lead individual projects (including sports rights acquisitions, investments, and M&A)
• Conduct structured research, including trend, market, and competitor analyses
• Prepare and deliver high-impact pitches and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Support colleagues within the department and collaborate with SPORTFIVE's global Business Development teams on new projects
• Contribute to a high-performance, diverse, and collaborative team culture within the global organization

Your Profile

• University degree in business administration, economics, finance, marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution—or equivalent professional experience
• At least two years of professional experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment such as management consulting, investment banking, tech startups, or a similar field
• Experience in the sports, entertainment, or media industry is a plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity about market trends, customer needs, and innovative business models
• Strong understanding of brand and marketing strategies in the sports sector
• Analytical mindset with experience working with data sets—knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., AI) is a plus
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas
• International and intercultural experience is valued
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Business fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic) are a plus
