WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be guiding the creative through the design season while working with a team of designers, tech developers, product managers, and merchants to deliver creative in line with the Nike Design Direction. This opportunity will require strong collaborative skills to meet cost requirements, deadlines, all while taking your partners though the thinking behind your work.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

Senior Manager, Design Apparel Speed - NIKE, Inc. Create industry leading apparel collections that appropriately reflect the company’s design ethos. Define company strategy and design process for Sportswear Speed Apparel Mens and Womens.

Provide communication across multiple design teams within the company. Manage product design direct report(s) while managing multiple projects in a fast paced creative speed to market process. Create design direction and seasonal narratives for the Speed function. Assist in the growth of the team and the business within overseen areas and Introduce digital end-to-end production within the team. Create and define short and long term vision strategies to reflect the speed team goals. Make internal and external presentations for senior leadership. 

·       Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. 

·       8+ years of relevant work experience in Apparel Design.

·       Apparel Manufacturing.

·       Trend and consumer expert.

·       Adobe Illustrator.

·       Adobe Photoshop.

·       Keynote.

·       Ai Softwear inclusive of Vizcom.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will identify gaps in the current product line and propose innovative trend relevent solutions that address emerging consumer needs. You'll also attend industry events and conduct regular market research to ensure your expertise remains current. You will lead, mentor, and inspire the team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and efficiency.

  • You will push the status quo for the Nike consumer by expanding and articulating the creative vision within the context of overarching strategic objectives.
  • You will partner with cross-functional partners to ensure aesthetic feasibility while meeting price points, merchandising needs, and product creation requirements.
  • You will lead product design processes to ensure results are met, as well as actively seek opportunities to drive efficiency.
  • You will foster your team’s individual growth by providing inspiration, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
