- Sales Enablement & Commercial Insights
- Partner with the Sales and Commercial Finance teams to analyze customer sales performance, pricing strategies, and margin optimization.
- Support contract pricing and discount management efforts to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess sales trends, demand planning, and strategic opportunities.
- Financial Reporting, Forecasting, and Analysis
- Assist in forecasting demand, revenue, and margin, including updates to a 13-week rolling forecast.
- Prepare and analyze customer P&Ls, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on key financial metrics, including shipments, cancellations, and gross margin rates.
- Develop and enhance financial dashboards and reporting tools to drive efficiency and business insights.
- Operational Performance & Collaboration
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Sourcing, Planning, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
- Assist in inventory and reserve management to support financial and operational goals.
- Strategic Support & Business Insights
- Support business development initiatives by evaluating organic growth and M&A opportunities.
- Identify key financial trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and best practices in financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a wholesale, retail, or consumer goods industry.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills with advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, Power Query, scenario modeling).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong business acumen, detail-oriented mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, influencing decision-making and driving financial performance.
