Full Description
What You'll Do:
- Business Partnering with Commercial & Operational leads to ensure delivery of accurate month end accounting close in line with US GAAP. 
- Oversee the preparation of variance analysis and commentary for corporate submission of PVA’s. 
- Prepare and submit timely budgets and forecasts, approved and understood by the business on a quarterly and annual basis 
- Ensure delivery of weekly cash forecasts, quarterly P&L reforecasts and annual budgeting cycles focusing on forecast accuracy in a timely manner. 
- Partnering with Commercial & Operational leads to understand drivers of changes to business performance, track and monitor risk and opportunities across all Commercial & Operations – highlighting in a timely manner to Head of Finance. 
- Work closely with Commercial & Operational leads to support Client reporting and adhoc support as and when required. 
- Be the expert financial advisor on all accounting, audit and tax related issues liaising with specialist corporate teams as required. 
- Coach and develop a team of Accountants and Finance Assistants, driving forward a high-performance culture. 
Unusual Challenges or Circumstances
- Must be prepared to work additional hours as required to meet deadlines. 
You Have These:
- Qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA/CA with >3years Post qualified experience. 
- Must be flexible and adaptable and prepared to work as part of a team and occasionally, irregular hours 
- Previous line management experience 
- Previous experience in a business partnering role supporting multiple stakeholders 
- Commercial awareness and business acumen 
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload on a daily basis. 
- Good verbal and written communications skills. 
- Must be able to work calmly under pressure and work as part of a team to achieve results. 
- Positive, professional and keen approach to work. 
- Excellent attention to detail 
- Proficient in Microsoft specifically advance Excel e.g. Pivots, Sumifs, Power Query etc. 
- Strong numeracy skills e.g. Mathematically competent 
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with multiple tasks. 
- Works independently and use own initiative to generate new ideas and solve problems 
- Must be able to work calmly under pressure and work as part of a team to achieve results 
We'd Also Love if You have These:
- Willingness to adapt to change and provide support where required 
- Knowledge of MS Power BI/Tableau 
- Experience of working in a similar TV Production environment 
- Knowledge of US GAAP 
- Experience with SAP, BPC 
- Passion for Sport 
- Understanding of technological advancements within Media and Finance industries
