PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
As the Senior Director, Supply Chain Management (SCM) for the Pacific (PAC) Cluster, you will lead end-to-end supply chain operations across Australia, New Zealand, and Export Markets. This role is responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound transportation, last-mile e-commerce delivery, customs operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, distribution center operations, and overall product supply.
You will be a key member of the Pacific Senior Leadership Team (SLT), driving business success and strategic initiatives across the region. The role reports to the Vice President, Supply Chain Management – Emerging Markets, with a functional reporting line to the General Manager, Pacific Market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Shape the regional supply chain roadmap in alignment with global SCM strategy and market objectives.

Lead all end-to-end operations: logistics, transportation, e-commerce delivery, customs, inventory, order fulfillment, and warehousing.

Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders across commercial, finance, brand, and key accounts to ensure execution excellence and strategic alignment.

Contribute to the cluster’s broader business strategy, bringing a general management mindset to support market growth beyond traditional SCM.

Champion and deliver major infrastructure projects, including new distribution centers critical to business expansion.

Lead the setup and evolution of the region’s order fulfillment function.

Optimize product availability and delivery performance, ensuring competitiveness through speed, service, and efficient inventory.

Manage and inspire a team of 47 supply chain professionals, fostering high performance and growth.

Use data-driven insights to continuously assess and improve supply chain performance and operational processes.

Oversee three distribution centers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, driving excellence in warehousing KPIs and operational efficiency.

Partner with e-commerce teams to enhance own.com and marketplace logistics performance, ensuring delivery of key SLAs.

Collaborate cross-functionally on innovation projects such as RFID implementation, locker room initiatives, and enhanced value-added services for retail.

Support long-term infrastructure planning in collaboration with global teams, aligned with the market’s growth strategy.

Partner with procurement teams to lead tenders for transportation, last-mile delivery, and customs brokerage.

Own and manage financial performance of the SCM function, including budget planning and oversight of cost-to-serve (COS) and inventory KPIs.

Ensure robust monitoring and reporting of supply chain metrics such as on-time availability (OTA), on-time in-full (OTIF), cost efficiency, and service level.

Balance demand and supply through strong S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) routines in partnership with Finance.

Prepare business cases and execute approved supply chain projects within budget and timelines.

Lead customer collaboration efforts to align supply chain capabilities with commercial needs.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, global policies, and internal controls.

Drive continuous improvement programs and proactively identify opportunities to increase profitability.

Maintain high levels of employee engagement through coaching, training, and development.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations, with leadership of sizable teams.

Experience in retail, FMCG, or sporting goods industries is highly desirable.
-
Fluency in English is required.
