FHI (Fanatics Holdings Inc.) employees are expected to be on-site 4-days per week. We also offer the unique benefit of allowing employees to temporarily work from anywhere up to 20 days per year.

The Role:

This key leadership position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) and Invoice-to-Cash (ITC) Accounting Shared Services functions in accordance with GAAP and corporate policy. Building and executing an operational strategy to deliver a superior customer experience while driving scalable business processes in a well-controlled environment is a primary responsibility.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and lead a team of high-performing individuals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.
  • Analyze business processes, identify opportunities, and drive initiatives to improve delivery, with a relentless focus on accuracy, scalability, efficiency, and providing exceptional customer experience.
  • Position the department to sustain high performance through high-growth periods with rapidly changing circumstances, such as process changes, system upgrades, or the integration of an acquisition.
  • Lead the shared service integration activities associated with any acquisitions.
  • Establish goals and monitor key performance metrics to measure the quality and efficiency of functional processes.
  • Ensure financial processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures, Sarbanes Oxley internal controls and all local and international statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the leadership across the organization to achieve the company's goals including bringing insights and ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the business.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Organizations on the financial close, monthly financial reporting and analysis and implementing projects.
  • Maintain an effective and motivated organization through training, feedback, coaching and development of team members.
  • Other duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience leading transactional accounting functional teams: Accounts Payable, T&E and Accounts Receivable
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including possessing the ability to quickly identify, address and resolve employee related issues
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with all management levels
  • Requires strong business acumen, including general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision, and executive presence
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in decision making process
  • Ability to meet deadlines in fast paced environment
  • Ability to design, document, and implement process improvements
  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple large-scale and/or complex projects and proven ability to successfully lead a multi-faceted team and address challenging and potentially controversial issues in a sound professional and business-like manner.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Advanced degree and/or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license a plus.
