Job Description
Wasserman Corporate is looking for a dynamic and passionate Analyst to join the Global Insights and Innovation team with a focus on Data Strategy. The Data Strategy group is responsible for the data modernization of all data capabilities across the Wasserman portfolio. The team leads Wasserman's efforts in building a solid data foundation and optimizing all business processes that require data inputs.
The Senior Business Analyst will assist in the discovery, planning and execution of updating data processes and optimizing the warehousing of that data. The ideal candidate will have an experience with business process change management, large data set analyst and data platform knowledge. The types of data platforms include CRM, CLM, lead generation, project management, data warehousing and 1st/3rd party sources. We are looking for someone who can assist in the evolution process of how data is manage and optimized across the business. They should also be comfortable sharing process findings and recommendations across multiple stakeholder groups.
Duties:
- Requirements gathering:
- Conducting interviews, workshops, and document analysis to thoroughly understand and document business needs from stakeholders.
- Business process analysis:
- Evaluating current business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to optimize operations.
- Strategic analysis:
- Performing deep dives into data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and developing strategic plans to address them.
- Solution design:
- Collaborating with technical teams to translate business needs into functional specifications and design solutions that align with business objectives.
- Project management:
- Overseeing the business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, including defining scope, managing deliverables, and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Data analysis:
- Utilizing data analysis techniques to extract insights from large datasets and inform decision-making.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Informational Technology, Statistics (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience working with large data sets and analytical models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Deep understanding of business processes and industry best practices
- Project management skills
- Ability to facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders
- Curiosity for the entire Wasserman business and how data and products can impact it
- A ‘do-er' who is excited by new and undefined challenges/problems that require creative solutions - and can create the plan and structure to get it done
- Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills particularly required for PowerPoint and Excel.
Base salary range: $60-75K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
