Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team

NIKE, Inc. does more than outfit the world’s best athletes. It’s a place where passionate individuals come together to create the future of sport. We are unapologetic about who we are and what we’re after—bringing innovation and inspiration to every athlete* in the world. We look for athletes who can push boundaries, elevate our potential and continue leading us to greatness. The next tastemakers, playmakers, risk takers and glue players. Are you game?

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:

Nike Energy is the team responsible for driving authentic consumer connection to sport culture. We do this through the lens of innovative product concepts, collaboration projects and visionary marketing activations and storytelling. Within Nike we are tasked with creating the future of sport.

Planning plays a key role on the Nike Energy team. You will partner closely with Merchandising, Marketplace, Operations & Marketing to build seasonal plans that fulfill strategic goals and meet consumer needs.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a Senior Assortment Planner to build clear, end‑to‑end, bottoms‑up assortment plans grounded in profitability, productivity, and consumer‑centric offerings. Because this role operates within Nike Energy—a fast‑paced, test‑and‑learn environment rooted in sneaker and fashion culture—it requires comfort with change and an openness to a less traditional, highly dynamic planning role.A strong candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • Proven experience in assortment planning (3-5 years directly relevant work experience) with a strong understanding of financial, product, and inventory planning

  • Ability to assess style potential in the marketplace and identify gaps to financial plans from a bottoms‑up perspective

  • Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to build accurate plans and optimize trade‑offs

  • Ability to influence partners and deliver clear, compelling, data‑driven communication

  • Strong collaborator who understands the importance of cross-functional alignment to build plans that support the business’s strategic intent.

  • Proficiency in building and managing Excel‑based tools and analytics platforms, including Power BI

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:

Nike Energy moves fast—and planning is at the center of how we win. In this role, you’ll build clear, end‑to‑end assortment plans that tell the seasonal story while delivering profitable, consumer‑centric line plans. Your forecasts and planning decisions will translate consumer demand into supply chain action—informing manufacturing, inventory flow, and in‑season pivots. You’ll partner closely with your cross-functional partners to align product opportunities to future financial plans and ensure the strategy is clearly communicated and actionable.

You will:

  • Build seasonal plans and monthly forecasts at the style‑color level; own bottoms‑up forecasts to inform manufacturing and in‑season decisions.

  • Partner with Geo and Global stakeholders to optimize business health across the product life cycle, including responsive in‑season actions.

  • Analyze performance vs. forecast and update in‑season sales and inventory forecasts monthly.

  • Drive in‑season optimization by analyzing data and delivering actionable insights.

  • Bring cross-functional teams together to gather insight for forecasts and processes.

  • Track forecast variance at key planning gates; surface risks and opportunities and drive aligned action plans.

  • Support monthly and seasonal inventory planning and management activities.

NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it. Nike offers a generous total rewards package, casual work environment, a diverse and inclusive culture, and an electric atmosphere for professional development. No matter the location, or the role, every Nike employee shares one galvanizing mission: To bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world.
