Full Description

The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator is crucial to the safety and wellbeing of Fanatics Associates. The Safety Coordinator will work as a strategic partner with all departments to ensure all environmental health and safety aspects meet the standards of Fanatics and all governing bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver communications as established by Department Supervisor in a one-on-one or Stand Up format.
  • Engage athletes in safety team related activities and conversations.
  • Identify safety related barriers and seek resolution.
  • Support orientation and training of new hires and athletes in new roles.
  • Work hand-in-hand with supervisors to perform accident investigations as necessary
  • Assist with follow up after accident or illness situation to ensure there are no residual barriers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • 1 -2 yr. previous experience in an active safety role
  • 1 yr. warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift Up to 25lbs frequently
  • May be expected to lift and reach
  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
  • Able to multitask
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work overtime, as needed
  • May be expected to walk up to 10 miles daily
