Role Overview 

The Loss Prevention Associate (LPA) is responsible for supporting the execution of security and shrink reduction programs at their assigned location. This role plays a key part in safeguarding company assets, promoting a culture of safety, and reducing inventory loss. The LPA will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and EHS teams to identify vulnerabilities, conduct investigations, and execute strategic loss prevention initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner capable of analyzing risk, taking initiative, and influencing operational improvements.

How you will make an impact:

• Support the EHS/LP Supervisor with internal investigations and incident follow-up.
• Promote a culture of shrink awareness and prevention throughout the facility.
• Identify and address areas of risk contributing to inventory shrinkage or operational vulnerabilities.
• Oversee and coordinate physical security measures, including the supervision of contract security staff.
• Monitor inventory integrity and conduct audits as needed.
• Prioritize workplace safety by reporting hazards or suspicious behavior promptly.
• Monitor team member and visitor behavior, reporting anomalies in alignment with LP protocols.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on the implementation of loss prevention programs and best practices.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Utilize CCTV, exception reporting, and other tools to investigate and mitigate shrink-related issues.
• Partner with site teams and leadership to support broader LP and EHS objectives.
• Assist with video review and response during safety incidents.
• Support cross-site LP projects and seasonal priorities as directed.

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks independently.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to respond effectively during emergencies or crisis situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with all levels of management.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of warehouses or distribution operations is highly desirable.
• Capable of working under limited supervision in a high-performance culture.

Where You’ll Work and What’s required:

• High School Diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Previous Loss Prevention Experience is preferred.
• Bilingual a plus
