The Role and What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Implementation Lead who can blend strategic solutioning with successful execution. This role involves engaging with stakeholders to understand data needs, while also configuring and enhancing Data Cloud directly. The ideal candidate is comfortable gathering requirements (functional and non-functional), and designing solutions, while mentoring team members and contributing thought leadership to support best practices. The Salesforce Data Cloud Lead will spearhead the design (including architecture), implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions with a strong emphasis on incorporating AI capabilities. The role bridges technical strengths with business acumen to deliver solutions that maximize marketing, sales and service efficiency and business outcomes.

The Salesforce Implementation Lead (Data Cloud) will:

·Lead full lifecycle Salesforce Data Cloud designs, implementations and enhancements, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business needs.

·Architect and deliver advanced automated solutions leveraging Salesforce Flows, Approval Processes, and Einstein Automate to simplify workflows, streamline processes, and boost productivity.

·Provide leadership on AI capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Einstein, Agentforce, and third-party tools.

·Own and manage the identity resolution process and customer Golden Record within the Data Cloud environment, while working closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to maintain warehouse-native identity and customer data enrichment.

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, service, IT and senior stakeholders to identify and address pain points and challenges and develop scalable Data Cloud solutions.

  • Lead a team of Data Cloud specialists, provide guidance and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem solving.

·Manage project timelines, backlog, team resources, and governance ensuring compliance with security and data privacy policies.

·Architect and deliver automated and AI-powered autonomous workflows that interact seamlessly with CRM data and business processes.

·Manage appropriate activation capabilities both within the Salesforce ecosystem and externally to third-party tools where required.

·Configure and customize Salesforce Data Cloud features, including automations, workflows, and integrations.

  • Lead a team of Data Cloud specialists, provide guidance and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem solving.

·Drive adoption through training and change management.

  • Oversee project planning, risk mitigation, and communication.

  • Stay well-informed about Salesforce platform releases and proactively recommend enhancements, improvements, and automations that deliver business value.

·Collaborate with business stakeholders and Salesforce team members to identify automation opportunities and translate them into intelligent (and ideally AI-based) solutions.

You Have These:

·Minimum 6 years Salesforce experience with 2+ years in a leadership role focused on Data Cloud.

·Deep expertise and proficiency with the Data Cloud platform. Ability to lead solutioning and approach, considering both functional and non-functional requirements to inform decision-making.

·Best-practice and ingenuity in the implementation and governance of Data Model Objects, identity resolution rules, calculated insights, and harmonized data modeling.

·Expertise with Salesforce configuration, automation (flows, workflows), reports, dashboards, and omni-channel features and integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs.

·Experience orchestrating ETL/ELT tooling and event streaming from external sources into the Salesforce ecosystem.

·Ability to build actionable reports and dashboards that track agent performance, case resolution metrics, and service KPIs.

·Ability to establish, enforce, and audit cloud security policies that cover standards for data classification, access control, and incident response.

·Security and compliance awareness, understanding of permission sets, role hierarchies, and data governance practices to ensure secure and compliant operations.

·Salesforce Certifications: Data Cloud Consultant, Platform Administrator I/II, Data Architect.

·Understanding of autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, decision-making, and executing workflows within Salesforce.

·Proficiency with Agile delivery, best practices, ceremonies, and ways of working.

·Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, communication (written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences), and collaboration skills.

·Experience with Salesforce DevOps Center.

·Experience with Salesforce Event Monitoring.

·Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud.

·Experience with Agentforce or similar agentic AI technologies.

We’d Love If You Also Have These:

·Prior experience with previous incarnations of Data Cloud (e.g., Customer 360 Audiences, etc)

·Experience with performance tuning and RBAC for Data Cloud.

·Knowledge of 3rd party tools and platforms (e.g., ZoomInfo, Guru, Clay, Salesloft, Natterbox) and how they integrate with the Salesforce ecosystem.

·Experience building and delivering data products for both internal and external stakeholders.

·Certifications: Agentforce Specialist, Business Analyst, Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect.

·Experience with CRM Analytics.

·Experience with incorporating Datadog observability into Salesforce.

Travel:Travel is only required for offsites, workshops, and training/conferences/events.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$150,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$200,000 annually
