Full Description
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market penetration across Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan (HKMT). This individual will be responsible for executing regional channel strategies, managing distributor and retail partnerships, and developing key accounts to grow our Topps trading card portfolio and other collectibles.
This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate diverse consumer landscapes. The Sales Manager will be instrumental in establishing and scaling our sales presence in HKMT, ensuring sustainable growth across retail, hobby, and eCommerce channels. This is a full time role, in the designated office 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, aligned with global and regional priorities.
- Drive revenue by identifying growth opportunities across retailers, hobby stores, and online platforms.
- Adapt strategies to local consumer behaviors, cultural nuances, and market maturity in each sub-region.
Distributor & Partner Management:
- Build and manage relationships with distributors and sub-distributors in HKMT.
- Ensure partners are engaged, trained, and aligned with brand and growth objectives.
- Negotiate terms, set performance targets, and track execution to maximize market coverage and sell-through.
Key Account Development:
- Establish and grow relationships with major retail and specialty accounts, including department stores, hobby shops, and eCommerce partners.
- Lead account planning, joint business development, and promotional initiatives.
- Serve as the main contact for commercial discussions, pricing strategy, and partnership negotiations.
Market Development & Launch Execution:
- Support new product launches and brand activations with local marketing and channel partners.
- Drive merchandising execution, staff training, and collector community engagement to ensure strong brand presence.
- Collect and relay consumer insights from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan to influence product and marketing strategies.
Reporting & Insights:
- Track distributor and account performance, preparing regular sales forecasts and business reports.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize revenue, and capture growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
- 5–8 years in sales, business development, or commercial management, ideally in consumer goods, collectibles, toys, or entertainment.
- Proven track record in building distributor partnerships and growing accounts across HKMT.
- Experience in market entry or brand-building in Hong Kong, Macau, and/or Taiwan strongly preferred.
- Fluent Cantonese, Mandarin, plus English proficiency for global communication.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and adaptable to multi-market environments.
- Passion for fandom culture, sports, or collectibles is a significant plus.
