Full Description
Topps International is looking for an ECommerce Sales Manager to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. This position is responsible for managing and maximizing the sales performance of offline-related activities of Topps Japan through sales activities, trade promotional methods. This position also develops and execute a customer satisfaction strategy across the business using in-depth knowledge off-line marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Develop the off-line market launch plan for Topps in the Japanese market
Working with the relevant cross-functional teams, be responsible for the sales growth and development of Topps products on off-line marketplaces
Take ownership of top-line results and reporting, including control of the trade spend across all customers • Assist in developing marketing/promotion plans to achieve top-line target
Develop and manage the in-house warehouse and stock control functions in line with business needs to aid company growth, cost and stock control, reporting and ultimately profitability
Develop and execute a customer satisfaction strategy across the business using in-depth knowledge off-line marketplace
Support supervisor with development of annual / quarterly channel and customer activation plans
Responsible for account management, merchandising and data analysis to support all channel growth by supporting the management of distribution and strategy implementation
Act as an expert in the business by having thorough knowledge of competition, market trends, suggested retail pricing and promotional opportunities and threats
Communicate this knowledge internally to appropriate departments to maximize selling opportunities
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
5 year of relevant experience in a similar company
Preferred previous experience in FMCG, toys, collectibles in the eCommerce space
Strong understanding of target markets and consumer behaviour
Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment, leveraging and building on differences
Dynamic, strong interpersonal skills, leadership as well as excellent business presentation skills
Project management skills and tools, along with capability to lead and contribute to multi- functional teams
Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to change
Organised and methodical, with the ability to manage workload and priorities autonomously
Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative
Well presented with a professional manner to act as a brand ambassador
Fluent in Japanese and English
Degree in business-related fields
