THE AGENCY
OVERVIEW
CAA Brand Management are currently seeking a Royalty Analyst on a six-month fixed term contract, to assist the commercial finance team in the royalty reporting process.
Main Responsibilities to include, but limited to:
Collect royalty reports and sales projections from licensees.
Analyse reports for compliance to contractual obligations.
Calculate royalties and ensure complete, accurate and timely payment, including calculating commissions earned and liability to licensor.
Maintain internal sales & royalty databases.
Process accounts receivable and follow up on past due accounts.
Track and account for withholding tax.
Support Finance Team with client budgeting and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree with a business background preferred, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of post-university and/or professional work experience.
Superb organisation and time management skills, with an exceptional eye for attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate well with a broad spectrum of international and domestic clients.
Accounting/AP/AR experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, special emphasis on Excel.
Experience in the consumer product licensing industry is a plus, but not required.
Royalty Accounting experience and/or familiarity with royalty software preferred, but not required.
Self-motivated team player and able to prioritise and multi-task.
