Full Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day retail operations to ensure all pre-retailing expectations are met onsite at the event. This will include value-add services including but not limited to receiving, sorting, properly picking product, labeling, organizing with front of house readiness top of mind and overseeing movement and transfers to and from the warehouse.
- Lead the creation of the pre-retailing value added service functions
- Preparing and labeling orders for each event destination
- Liaison between buyers, planners and internal partners regarding product receiving, distribution, inventory levels, sales, etc.
- Overseeing inventory management system across all Fanatics Retail Events, lead all necessary communication to retail partners
- Receive and unload merchandise from new inbound/IVR return shipments
- Manage inventory movements to and from warehouse and from event to event
- Trouble shoot inventory integrity as needed / upon receiving
- Coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse and event management team(s)
- Support hiring process for part-time / seasonal employees
- Oversee part-time hourly employee workload and delegation to support pre-retailing event initiatives
- Effectively communicating expectations for assignments and projects to part-time hourly employees
- Provide feedback and coaching as needed to part-time hourly staff
- Lead by example as the business needs, assisting with picking, packing and palletizing all assigned orders daily
- Additional on-site event merchandise responsibilities as needed (e.g. WrestleMania Superstore)
- Assist with the coordination of traffic Pick up and Drop Off(s)
- Partner with CDL driver(s) on product and traffic movements
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized warehouse
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a stock or warehousing position
- Ability to work with inventory systems including but not limited to OpSuite, Square, etc.
- Flexible work schedule to include weekends and potentially holidays off-site, on-site at events
- Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities
- Ability to respectfully work with employees of all levels and guide projects
- Team player
- Self-motivated
- Knowledge of Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs.
