Full Description
As the Regional Director of Operations, you will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and have a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Senior Director of Sales and Distribution at the Red Bull Distribution Company. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring partner satisfaction and fostering a focus on achieving operational excellence while consistently exceeding partner expectations.
You will provide leadership, guidance, advocacy, and strategic vision to a group of Site Operation Managers. These managers oversee the planning, organization, direction, coordination, and centralization of all warehouse activities within an assigned region. Your responsibilities will also include managing orders and ensuring fulfillment of sales, gross margin goals, and growth objectives established by the company.

SAFETY
Provide employees with education on safety standards, expectations, and the proper operation of equipment through both online and in-person training sessions.
Consult with the leadership team regarding safety compliance issues and recommend necessary preventative actions.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing established standards and procedures.
Adhere to all protocols for reporting accidents and injuries, including submitting reports into the Incident Management System.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee frequently needs to walk and sit.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds as necessary.
Specific visual abilities required for the position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The job includes operations involving forklifts and commercial vehicles.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field required.
- Five to ten year's operations management within retail or distribution with multiple location responsibility.
- Experience starting up and managing new locations.
- Must have prior P&L or Cost Center Control responsibility
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office, including Excel
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience in an analytical and project support role preferably with a multinational or global company.
- Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate complex operations data, distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative methodologies.
- Systems acumen (SAP, Minitab, Excel, Access, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to execute strategies for improvement and day-to-day support of efficient operations.
- Ability to convert analysis into insights.
- Understanding of problem solving and knowledge of root cause analysis tools.
- Exceptional time management, organization and prioritization skills.
- Superior customer service and adaptability to changing requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in self-directed manner.
- Travel 50-60%
