Casual Matchday Hospitality and Kiosk Roles
Matchday Hospitality Waiting staff
Role: Match day hospitality waiting staff are required to work all home fixtures with the option of non-match day work
Age Requirements: 16 +
Experience required: Previous waiting experience and/or silver service skills is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
Waiting staff work in the hospitality areas on match fixtures serving Match day corporate guests food.
Hospitality staffs need to be able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills and an extremely smart appearance.
Matchday Hospitality Bar staff
Role: Match day hospitality bar staff are required to work all home fixtures with the option of non-match day work
Age Requirements: 18 +
Experience required: Previous bar experience essential.
Bar staff work in the hospitality areas on match fixtures taking orders and serving Match Day hospitality guests drinks (alcoholic/ non-alcoholic). This role can include the exchange of monies and till usage.
Hospitality staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills and an extremely smart appearance.
Matchday Kiosk Staff
Role: Match day Ground Catering staff are required to work all home fixtures within the stadium on a Match Day.
Age requirements: 16+ (limited areas for under 18’s)
Experience required: Some experience desirable (Training will be given)
Match day Ground Catering staff work in the kiosks and bar outlets, where alcohol is present, and you will be situated around the stadium serving Match Day General ticket holders. Ground Catering staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have a good team working skills and a good attitude. The Uniform for Ground Catering Staff is more informal (Leeds United t-shirt and fleece which is provided on your first shift)
Matchday Kiosk Team Leader
Role: Match day Ground Catering Team leaders are required to work all home fixtures (longer shift than standard Ground Catering staff).
Age requirements: 18+
Experience Requirement: Previous bar supervisory skills are required alongside a good knowledge of cellar and staff management (please note Ground Catering team leaders are paid an enhanced rate of pay for the increased responsibility)
Matchday Kitchen Porter
Role: Match day kitchen porters are required to work all home fixtures in the kitchens. Limited Non Match day work is available.
Age requirements: 16 +
Some experience in previous kitchen work.
Full Training will be given.
All Kitchen staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have a good team working skills and a good attitude.

Casual Matchday Duty Manager
JOB TITLE

General Manager of Catering
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role involves working all home fixtures, with the chance to pick up additional non-match day events. This person will look to manage the catering staff to deliver top quality service to all customers, motivated and productive ensuring key targets are met.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
To be responsible for the set up and general operations, ensuring service standards are met, and rooms are set up as prescribed for matchdays and events.
Ensure all signage is correct and maintaining good standards of hygiene.
To be responsible for cleanliness and hygiene of all bars and food service areas, at the end of shift.
To manage and control all events. Always ensuring complete customer satisfaction
To ensure that the highest standard applies to all areas on match days and that company health and safety policies are adhered to.
Be aware of stock levels and carry out stock rotation where applicable and to keep stock in line with the business demands, do not over stock.
To control wastage.
To ensure the control of all equipment, ensuring that breakages are kept to a minimum and that misuse of establishment property does not occur.
To ensure that all members of staff are trained to a level, which enables them to carry out their duties according to company standards.
To ensure that all staff and casual staff always adhere to departmental standard of dress and personal hygiene.
To inform the Operations Management team of any disciplinary matters regarding employees or problems with the day’s event.
To ensure all till readings are completed correctly at the end of each day.
To assist with paperwork and to be fully conversant with all paperwork involved in running the site efficiently and to ensure the correct paperwork is completed for due diligence.
To attend training sessions as required.
To comply with any other reasonable request made by Senior Management
To analyse match day procedures and improve customer experience, representing the company professionally at the highest level

Casual Matchday Chef
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Leeds United Football Club are now seeking experienced and motivated chefs to work home fixtures for the upcoming 2025/2026 football season. As a Chef, you will be contributing to the efficient running of one of our many kitchens and food offerings.
You will have the skills and passion to produce great food. You will be able to work independently or as part of a team whilst ensuring that you adhere to food health and hygiene regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous event, stadium and catering experience welcome but not necessary
A passionate food lover who champions change, bold ideas and progressive thinking.
A strong confident individual with excellent comunication skills.
Calm and adaptable problem solver with a natural flair for hospitality

ROLE SUMMARY
You will manage the end to end recruitment cycle, from attraction to onboarding. Reporting to the Head of People you will ensure the delivery of high-volume casual recruitment and specialist recruitment needs always considering diversity and inclusion and focusing on people first.
Working closely with key stakeholders across Elland Road and Thorp Arch you will ensure that we attract, select and retain the best talent offering your advice as a recruitment subject matter expert. You will focus on optimising our processes and creating and embedding unforgettable candidate experiences.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the recruitment process from end to end, always considering diversity and inclusion and focusing on people first.
Identify, source and secure top tier candidates through innovation direct sourcing strategies
Create unforgettable candidate experiences, ensuring that every candidate – regardless of the outcome – feels valued and respected throughout their interactions with the Club.
Work closely with managers and our HRBP and People Advisor to identify future talent requirements and support succession planning.
Create engaging job adverts and develop innovative sourcing strategies
Build strong relationships with local schools, colleges and universities and provide opportunities for the Club to communicate and share the opportunities within sport along with supporting our early careers and apprenticeship pathways.
Creating a pipeline of future talent by building meaningful relationships with potential candidates and nurturing a robust talent pipeline
Implement and development an applicant tracking system adding value to our processes and developing data points to ensure that we can make effective and considered decisions.
Build string relationships with our foundation and explore opportunities to work collaboratively in supporting our local community
Explore and propose any accreditation which would continue to develop and enhance our recruitment processes
Create innovative and meaningful ways for us to articulate and communicate our employer brand and create excitement for opportunities working with the Club.
Review and enhance our internal recruitment processes, ensuring that our internal talent has opportunities to develop and grow.
Lead casual recruitment across the Club ensuring that we are able to fully support key internal functions with their people’s needs.
Develop and create a Club approach to internships and placements ensuring that we provide our community with opportunities to develop and learn.
Work closely with our EDI lead and Head of Safeguarding and EDI to ensure that equal opportunities is a key focus and increasing our representation of underrepresented groups
Oversee the safer recruitment process ensuring that all areas are compliant with our policy and processes.
Be the main point of contact between the Club and candidate through the recruitment process from application to offer. Ensuring that we provide constructive feedback to unsuccessful candidates who have attended interviews.
Stay ahead of recruitment trends, exploring new ideas to enhance candidate experience and improve processes
Review our current recruitment agency agreements creating a preferred supply list for use should we be unable to fill a role directly.
Use data and analytics to monitor recruitment performance, identify trends and provide recommendations for improving processes etc

Proven experience in recruitment management or recruitment partnering role in house with expertise in managing volume causal recruitment and specialist recruitment processes.
Full knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle with a focus on improving candidate experience
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence and support hiring managers
A results orientated mindset with the proven ability within a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
Strong direct resourcing capability with the ability to use sound judgement of
when to outsource roles to a third-party supplier to get the best results
Ability to work at pace without compromising on quality, able to manage multiple roles at once.
A strong sense of professionalism and integrity, ensuring every candidate has positive experience and that recruitment decisions are fair and well thought out.
