Full Description
We are looking for a Quality Engineer III to take a leading role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our systems that
support inventory management, product planning, and fulfillment operations. As a QE III, you will work hands-on in
designing and executing automated test frameworks while contributing to the broader quality strategy of your team and
product area.
This is a mid-to-senior-level role for someone who has strong experience in test automation, functional testing, and
quality processes—along with the ability to collaborate across engineering, data, and product teams. You will play a key
part in maintaining test coverage, identifying issues early, mentoring junior QEs, and continuously improving testing
practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain automated test suites for APIs (REST/gRPC), backend services, and front-end applications
using tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Postman.
• Write and execute comprehensive test cases covering integration, regression, performance, and functional testing.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality goals.
• Participate in code and test case reviews to ensure high test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and help drive early testing through shift-left practices.
• Conduct exploratory and manual testing as needed for new features and complex use cases.
• Assist in triaging defects, debugging issues, and supporting root cause analysis across systems and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data teams to validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across inventory and
reporting platforms.
• Define and track quality metrics, and contribute to dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility.
• Mentor and support QE I and QE II team members in improving test effectiveness and automation skills.
• Recommend testing improvements and contribute to broader QA process enhancements within your product
team.
What You’ll Work With:
• Languages & Scripting: Python, JavaScript, Java, Golang
• Test Tools: Playwright, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, K6
• API & Validation: OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON Schema, REST, gRPC
• Data & Messaging: SQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, RDBMS (Postgres, MySQL)
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS or GCP, GitHub, GitLab CI/CD, Oracle OIC/OCI
• Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Slack, Agile/Scrum methodologies
What You Bring:
• 4–6 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering, preferably in agile environments
• Strong skills in test automation for web applications and APIs
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release management
• Familiarity with distributed systems, data validation, and event-driven architectures
• Experience in debugging and resolving issues across backend services and integration points
• Good communication and documentation skills, especially for test plans and reporting
• Ability to work independently on medium-to-large projects and mentor less experienced QEs
• Experience in inventory, retail, fulfillment, or supply chain systems is a plus
Why Join Us:
• Be part of a collaborative and high-performing team focused on delivering high-quality systems
• Take on meaningful technical challenges and drive improvements in automation and quality practices
• Influence how we build, test, and release scalable technology in a fast-moving apparel business
