WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll collaborate as part of an eight-person team, working closely each day with global, planning, factory, and marketplace groups. Together, you’ll help guarantee Nike products are delivered promptly and accurately to meet consumer needs. The team is responsible for all aspects of purchase order management and ongoing maintenance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchasing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and planning, with experience in SAP S4 HANA Purchase Order Management and advanced in Excel data management. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a collaborative mindset to drive process improvements and support team success. Key areas that this job entails; serving our cross functional partners, reducing cost of creating supply, ensuring we delivery product on time and making sure we uphold world class business practice when it comes to managing orders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business analytics, finance, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training.
  • 2+ years in supply chain management, supply chain operations, or logistics with emphasis on planning and data analysis.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, cross-workbook management) for data mining, reporting, and task automation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally across cross-functional teams and various levels of management.
  • Embrace ambiguity and adapt to evolving business practices with a growth mindset.
  • Not afraid to think outside of the box and is willing to ask questions and/or for help.
  • Willingness to share changes and best practices with teammates to drive evolution.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Individuals will be responsible for a sport focus business where they will participate in bi-monthly purchase order execution, support planning buy requests and manage through all the different purchase order change requests from twelve different teams. You will get to work in a fast pace, and multifunctional environment.

  • Manage and organize email communications to ensure timely responses and task completion.
  • You will be responsible for creating supply during a buy week.
  • You will be working in SAP S4 HANA and Nike Custom Bots.
  • You will play in a team driven offense while building relationships with folks across the table to ensure all issues are resolved to each team’s expectations (including yours).
  • You will be task to provide analysis on the work you do to find better ways to reduce the same issues from reoccurring and best practices.
  • Presenting Data and sharing results will be required in team and cross-functional meetings.
  • You will interact with MSC, GSP, Trading Company, DEC/PMO, COE, Trade and Transportation, SEC, Finance, Planning, Material Master Governance, Customer Master Data and Compliance and Merch Ops teams.
