JOB SUMMARY: 21500

A Publication Artist is responsible for creating professional, high quality, original ideas and designs with minimal guidance and supervision. In addition, they are responsible for effective throughput of Sales Collateral, including catalogs, eblasts, marketing campaigns, advertisements, flyers, web imagery, social media. A Publication Artist follows the entire production process through designing, proofing and printing procedures, while keeping the respective medium in mind.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Conceptualizing and finalizing graphic layouts for various publications using Adobe Suite. This includes typesetting, brainstorming ideas, comp layouts and an understanding of our product line and licenses for application into Marketing collateral.

• In this position the artist will work with lifestyle photos, assist with product photography and must have good eye for strong and compelling layouts.

• Support of our various web platform's marketing

• Actively keeps abreast of new art methods, graphic trends, styles, techniques, and software tools available in the design field

• Works closely with Art & Marketing management to maintain WinCraft brand integrity and that of each unique property.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL & Experience REQUIREMENTS:

• High School graduate or its equivalent, plus Degree in Graphic Design, or its equivalent.
• One to two years of professional experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Requires strong design and layout skills along with good color perception.

• Requires a considerable degree of skill and expertise using Macintosh-based equipment and Adobe software suite with InDesign focus.

• Demonstrates attention to detail and high level of concentration, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude, self-motivated, team player who can communicate effectively across multiple channels

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time.
• Ability to utilize a computer continuously.
• Ability to sit and/or stand continuously.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Office environment

The compensation rate range for this position is $18.50-$19 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
