Full Description
This role will serve as a Project Manager on the head office team within the Retail Organization. Your role is to ensure the success of assigned projects and tasks through operational excellence. Holding people accountable to deadlines, budgets, and commitments. Empowered to drive change based on project needs to ensure projects stay on objective and timeline.
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Effectively manage and execute retail, back office, and store strategic projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
- Lead and manage to successfully deliver assigned projects across the Retail business
- As needed, flex and support on Head Office projects, including but not limited to: Executive Leadership communications, team meetings, team off-sites, strategic planning projects, etc.
- Develop project plans that translate into concrete activities including but not limited to: workback schedules, communication strategy, meeting management, team charter creation, presentation creation, project tracking, budget management, recaps, etc.
- Support Sr. Leaders in the Retail org to ensure processes and methods are in place to execute strategic projects
- Work with cross-functional partners to establish project deliverables. Build, maintain, and manage all project deliverables against the broader project schedule.
- Create and maintain regular project status reports and Comms decks for core team as well as leadership. Provide action-oriented meeting and weekly project status recaps.
- Own, organize, and moderate internal project status meetings to capture progress, share, and problem-solve with the project lead.
- Conduct recaps and teardowns for future improvement
- Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people and resources
Collaboration
- Drive senior management meetings including content, cadence of meetings and action planning
- Lead all project meetings and touch bases
- Act as key point of contact for external and internal stakeholders for project needs and timelines
- Liaison with internal stakeholders and outside agencies used in execution of projects
- Keep key stakeholders up to speed on project status

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Strategic minded with strong executional abilities
2. Outstanding attention to detail
3. Advanced Excel and Smartsheet skills
4. Advanced in Microsoft PowerPoint, inclusive of deck building, design, and executive storytelling
5. Cross functional knowledge across both retail back office and stores.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence and manage diverse relationships internally and externally
7. Strong communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business
8. Ability to lead diverse project teams and influence strategically towards a common goal
9. 3-5 years of project management experience managing complex programs with numerous deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholders.
10. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once; ability to prioritize and drive focus in complex projects.
11. Experience in cross-functional partner relationship management
12. Experience managing large budgets with multiple stakeholders
13. Strong data organization and reporting ability
14. Strong collaborative mindset and proactive attitude
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration, or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive work experience in mid to large scale strategy, project or program management roles
- Experience working closely with middle and senior managers across functions
