Full Description
Our Global Portfolio Management Office is growing rapidly, and our team is searching for a project manager to support the implementation of exciting new solutions for our global initiatives.
As a Project Manager within our global organisation, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining, defending, and evolving our Project Management (PM) framework to ensure it supports a scalable, efficient, and value-driven project environment. You'll drive a smooth way of working across diverse business units by championing the use of project management tools, guiding adoption, and identifying tailored solutions within our standardised enterprise framework. A key part of this role will involve exploring and integrating emerging technologies—such as large language models (LLMs)—to enhance our framework, support intelligent automation, and enable smarter, data-driven project practices.

CROSS FUNCTIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT
You’ll partner closely with several teams to ensure the execution of impactful projects, driving alignment with strategic business objectives. You'll lead and manage the project intake process, ensuring consistent evaluation, prioritisation, and alignment with strategic objectives. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for new project requests from Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Data and Finance units, translating ideas into structured project proposals.
WORKSHOPS & MEETINGS
You'll facilitate intake meetings with stakeholders to gather essential project information, clarify business needs, and assess readiness. You'll also generate reports and dashboards for project managers and stakeholders.
SEAMLESS PROJECT EXECUTION
You'll monitor project data within PM Tools for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. In addition, you’ll initiate, review, and progress project requests across our global procurement activities to ensure the project is coordinated and successfully finished.
STANDARDS & PROCESSES
You'll promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning by highlighting opportunities for improvement. You'll also leverage emerging technologies, including large language models (LLMs), to enhance project management processes, improve decision-making, automate documentation, and streamline knowledge management within the PM framework.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in a controlling, planning or project team with process background
- Strong Communication Skills, effective verbal and written communication is crucial for collaborating with teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- The ability to quickly learn, adapt to and leverage new tools, technologies, and project environments.
- Proficiency in organising tasks, managing time, and maintaining project documentation.
- Capacity to identify issues, analyse problems, and propose practical solutions.
- Collaboration and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated, self-directed and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
