WORK OPTION: 4 days a week in the Secaucus, NJ office

Position Summary:
Responsible for the tracking and communication around ancillary venue availability, management of internal communications, building presentations for internal stakeholders, tracking requests and documenting master schedules and supporting the GM of Marquees Events for NBA All-Star in the San Francisco Bay Area and the NBA Cup in Las Vegas.

Major Responsibilities:
Communications and Project Management:

  • Support Event Management team with the development of streamlined communications documents, recording and tracking all NBA All-Star 25 and NBA Cup related events, as well as building clear and professional presentation decks and other communications materials.

Event Execution:

  • Coordinate VIP walk throughs and site visit details on site in San Francisco at key locations.
  • Serve as a main point of contact for planning site visits. Additional assignments in support of NBA Cup and AllStar 2025 as directed.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with key NBA departments and constituents including but not limited to: Host Team and local Host Committee, Corporate Services, Marketing, Team Marketing & Business Operations, Global Partnerships, Security, and Communications.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; both written and verbal!
  • Highly motivated self-starter and strong-performing team player!
  • Superior attention to detail, with an orientation toward quality customer service
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills essential
  • Hospitality or event management experience preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Educational Background Required:

  • Undergraduate Degree; Business, Event Management, Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • 2-3years experience

Salary Range: $30/Hourly
