Our production department is the heart of LIVE·TEAM; this is an extremely busy and diverse department with production occurring everyday across multiple shift patterns delivering high quality and unique live event printed products throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

The role of Production Quality Check Controlleris to execute comprehensive final quality control of all produced orders between theproduction and packing stages of the process. This is akey role to support production management and make sure that zero defected or wrongly produced jobs are being despatched on site. You will be tasked with day-to-day job checking, feedback to job owners, update status of orders in the MIS system alongside support to finishing and packing teams where applicable.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Work effectively with all Production Managers and Production Units responding as appropriate to all new tasks and requests.
  • Analyse, check andprepare for packaging all job bags released from Finishing stage,ensuring that they are produced to the correct requirements and without defects.
  • Study full content of Job Bags to understand required parameters of the produced product.
  • Conduct all required count and measurements, plus visual inspection of all prints and structures.
  • Collate all prints in a way convenient for the next stage (packing).
  • Report all imperfections, issues, mismatches to the relevant Production manager and Production departments.
  • Update status of each Job in MIS system.
  • Help and support other Production Units with manual operations (like application of tapes and Velcro, manual finishing work, packing, waste management),
  • Participate in regular Production meetings.
  • Schedule your time and prioritise Job Bags processing based on a main Production Tracker. Update Production management about capacity and potential delays. Work closely with Warehouse team to ensure they are getting most urgent Job Bags ready for despatch on time.
  • Tracking and reporting time against projects.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

  • Planning & organising skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working in planning and scheduling of large format graphics production.
  • Passionate about servicing clients internal and external.
  • Great attention to detail, along with fantastic communication skills – verbal, written and presentational.
  • Experience of print and finishing production techniques of large format graphics.
  • Competency at all Microsoft Office packages, as well as good all round computer skills (training provided for MIS system).
  • Ability to prioritise and think logically and methodically.
