The Role 

We are seeking a Production Lead to join our Marketing, Communication and Engagement Division. You will play a pivotal role in producing  on-brand materials that bring the Games to life for spectators, athletes, volunteers, commercial partners, and audiences worldwide. This role sits at the intersection of brand, and creative studio, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs while maintaining the Glasgow 2026 brand identity.

With a focus on collaboration, creativity, and precision, this role is central to delivering an outstanding Games-time and pre-Games experience, through compelling and impactful content!

Job Summary

The Production Lead will drive the publications programme for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games by leading the briefing, creative development, and timely delivery of all publications for a wide range of audiences including spectators, volunteers, partners, and the general public. You will manage the production of creative assets by managing project workflows, tracking deadlines, and allocating resources to ensure timely and efficient delivery of creative work. Key responsibilities include managing the brief lifecycle, monitoring team capacity and potential bottlenecks, and fostering strong communication with internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives. 

Key Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will bring experience of working with marketing workflows, publication timelines, and production processes, ideally from working on large-scale events, sport, or public-facing campaigns. You will be confident using tools such as Microsoft Office, project management platforms, and digital asset management systems. A solid working knowledge of creative production processes including print, video, and digital, and experience working with brand guidelines or contributing to brand development will be required.

With strong organisational ability, and exceptional attention to detail this will allow you to manage competing priorities effectively and deliver work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Clear and confident communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to engage with a wide range of audiences across internal teams and external partners.

Salary: Starting salary is £35,000. Salary offered will be based on demonstrated skills and experience related to this role.
