Position Overview
At Fanatics Collectibles, we are seeking a Product Manager who is versed in the art and science of building "data as product” to lead our Customer Data Platform (CDP) initiatives across our Topps, Live, & Collect (TLC) businesses. This role will focus on creating a unified view of our customers and delivering data-driven solutions that enhance the collector experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong product management skills and a strategic mindset to help us better understand and serve our global community of collectors.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the strategic vision for our customer data initiatives, translating collector insights into measurable business growth and enhanced user experiences
- Develop data products that enhance the collector journey, from personalized recommendations to advanced collection tracking and marketplace insights
- Partner with data science teams to develop predictive models for collector behavior, pricing optimization, and inventory forecasting
- Collaborate closely with data engineering to build scalable data infrastructure, design to create intuitive user experiences, and marketing/sales to drive adoption
- Build influential partnerships across the organization, from executives to technical teams, to ensure our data strategy delivers meaningful impact to key stakeholders
- Lead the definition of customer-centric features by balancing collector needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
- Create and champion data governance frameworks that enable teams to confidently make data-driven decisions while maintaining high standards of data quality
- Drive cross-functional alignment through clear communication of product strategy, ensuring our technical investments deliver tangible business outcomes
- Foster a culture of customer obsession and data-driven decision making, helping teams across the organization leverage insights to improve the collector experience
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering strategic data products that drive business value
- Experience building consumer-facing digital products
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into actionable solutions
- Experience building and executing product roadmaps in partnership with multiple stakeholders across an organization
- Track record of successful cross-functional leadership and stakeholder partnership across data science, engineering, design, business teams, and leadership
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences
- Experience with data-driven decision making and ability to use analytics to inform product strategy
- Bachelor's or Master's level education in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at bridging the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations, and delivering user-centric product features.
- A passion for sports trading cards and the collectibles industry a plus
The salary range for this position is $144,000-$180,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.

Fanatics Collectibles is a leading licensor, producer, designer, and seller of physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets for entertainment and sports properties globally, as well as a manufacturer of physical and digital trading cards. It has secured exclusive licensing arrangements with major national professional sports leagues, including the MLB, NFL and the NBA, and related players associations, to produce physical and digital trading cards and other collectibles.
Fanatics Collectibles also has partnerships with a number of individual international sports teams and leagues, as well as owners of other entertainment properties granting similar exclusive rights. Fanatics Collectibles recently announced Fanatics Live, expected to launch later in 2023, which will focus on transforming the digital shopping experience through personality-driven content and entertainment.
