WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This Product Line Manager II will help create the future for Nike Accessories (Bags & Socks). They will support the product management team by partnering cross-functionally across Product Data, Design, Development, Manufacturing, Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing to bring product from Brief to Athlete*. They will have the opportunity to engage with Athletes* and marketplace partners to establish product, and marketplace needs and inspire a team to construct product accordingly. 

This posting is for 2 positions within the Product Line Management function, one working on socks and one working on bags.

An ideal PLM II is a collaborative teammate with a history of excellence, strong problem-solving skills, and phenomenal attention to detail. You will need strong organizational skills, a drive for crafting outstanding products and the ability to learn, adapt, and lead quickly. A passion for understanding and solving problems for our athletes is a must! We are looking for someone who will partner effectively with diverse teams around the globe and inspire teammates to bring their best.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, retail merchandising, product management or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training
  • A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience
  • An authentic and passionate connection to the sport, its consumer, and athletes*
  • Influencing skills and the ability 
  • Proven track-record of using organizational and collaboration skills to drive a process and deliver results 
  • Proven track record of applying vision to drive concepts to new space
  • Optimism. Dedication to bring hopefulness and confidence about the future.
  • Passion for Nike accessories and the culture of sport
  • Curiosity. Possess a strong desire to learn about new consumers, ideas, and opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and deadlines
  • Fluency with Microsoft office suite, Keynote, and general business software tools
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including internationally.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role will support all aspects of the product creation process from Brief to Buy Ready. The key responsibilities for this role include managing product data accuracy, building and maintaining product tools, and managing samples. 

  • You will work with the cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, and drive the product creation process forward. 
  • You will collaborate with merchandising, design, development, and sourcing on the product creation process from line planning through final product approval. 
  • You will conduct research on our product, consumer, and marketplace, manage product creation workflow and data, maintain product tools, and effectively collaborate across functional partners. 
  • You will deliver on key dates and hold yourself accountable to be a great teammate.
  • You will be the trusted expert on product tools, product data workflow, and sample management. 
  • You will work closely with your product management cross-gender teammates and global merchandising, design, development, sourcing, and marketing teams to support the product creation processes.
