Full Description
At DAZN Japan, we deliver a wide range of domestic and international sports content via live streaming, along with original programming such as athlete interviews and highlights. We are currently seeking an experienced Producer to join our team and lead the production of both live and nonlive programming, primarily in the fields of baseball and football.
This role requires proven experience in producing sports-related content for TV or streaming platforms, as well as leadership and team management experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, producing, and ensuring the quality of both live and non-live content. This includes managing production budgets and schedules, coordinating with external stakeholders, supervising production teams, and mentoring junior staff.
You will work collaboratively across internal and external teams to execute content strategies aligned with our business objectives—such as maximizing audience engagement and creating new sponsorship opportunities—through the delivery of outstanding sports content.
We particularly welcome candidates with experience in:
- Directing or producing live sports broadcasts from OB vans, or from tv studios.
- Producing off-tube (remote) commentary-based broadcasts
- Studio program direction or production (including TD/director roles)
- Creating sports-focused documentaries or magazine-style shows

What You'll Be Doing:
- Plan, develop, design, propose, execute, and ensure the quality of both live and non-live content related to baseball and football (soccer), with the aim of increasing audience engagement and driving revenue growth.
- Collaborate and coordinate closely with internal departments and stakeholders, understanding business expectations and translating them into actionable production strategies.
- Work alongside the advertising sales and marketing teams to provide production support aligned with commercial objectives.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned content, including staffing, talent (on-air personalities), and budgeting.
- Analyze and evaluate content performance using a data-driven approach, and implement improvement measures accordingly.
- Manage external production partners, vendors, and freelance staff to maintain high production standards.
YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS:
- Proven experience and expertise in producing and directing baseball and/or football (soccer) content
- Strong leadership and execution capabilities
