Full Description
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Specialist is responsible for vendor management execution and support, the management of vendor selection, contracting, relationship and performance monitoring for Red Bull Japan. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth supply of goods and services to Red Bull Japan, and providing support to the business across all areas of Procurement, including but not limited to Source to Contract process, Procure-to-Pay process, and Supplier management.
You will also assist in cost optimization, effective management of key suppliers and risks as well as supporting an efficient sourcing process of goods and services (i.e.: Facility/Office contract management of leases and suppliers, Lead of Administration planning, etc.) for Red Bull Japan. You ensure all processes are in alignment with HQ Global Procurement and applicable guidelines, policies, and strategic directions. You will be working cross-functionally to understand and align business needs with internal stakeholders.

Strategic Procurement
Acting as a professional individual contributor and point of contact for assigned category/topic/PJ and lead/support the initiative based on the expected role. Making sure to align the direction with manager and key stakeholders/AP or HQ procurement.
Identify the saving opportunity for assigned category/topic/PJ or based on the spend analysis and creating a business case based on the requirement from key stakeholders.
Getting the best-in-class service or goods through procurement activity (RFP/comparison/negotiation etc) for the entire organization.
Monitoring the procurement policy compliance and support employees or communicating /negotiating with suppliers for improvement and/or policy implementation.
Supporting to set up the vendor evaluation process, getting the alignment from internal stakeholders and HQ global team. Perform vendor evaluation to mitigate the risks and sustainable business growth for the company.
Category Focus on: Office & Office Supply
Manage RFP and vendor selection process for the office in Japan (mainly for regional offices in Roppongi, Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka, and Wings Offices , and Gaming Sphere) and creating a business case for renewal/change management to make the right decision. Monitor the spend and drive the strategy and support project team.
Monitoring the spend & milestones for construction and drive the strategy and making sure the delivery date. Travel.
Align the strategies with Manager and internal stakeholders on each topic or category.
Support HQ Global Procurement, Global Sustainability and local Finance team in local data provision and reporting.
Procure-to-Pay
Conduct approvals of new vendors requests.
Collaborate with the business in all procurement related activities.
Generate budget control reports and other regular reports on Procurement performance metrics.
Administration
Maintain Procurement documents.
Support contract reviewing and signing workflow.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise

- +5 years of working experience
- +5 years of experience in Procurement or 5+ years of negotiation + business case proposal experience proven project leading experience
- Stakeholder management (internal and external)
- Spend analysis and new initiative proposal from scratch experience
- Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint)
- Analytical tool experience (e.g. Power BI, SAC)
- Supplier relationship management experience
- Travel 0-10%
