WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a visionary principal engineer with a passion for building world-class data platforms and services. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a proven track record of leading high-impact technical initiatives.
Skillset Required
15+ years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms.
Deep expertise in big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and real-time analytics databases.
Mastery of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and their ecosystem of data services.
Strong understanding of data governance and security architecture.
Proven ability to drive major technical change and gain consensus across multiple teams and departments.
Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to influence without authority and navigate highly ambiguous situations.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Define and own the multi-year technical roadmap for the data platform.
Lead the architectural design for complex, cross-cutting initiatives.
Evaluate and champion the adoption of emerging technologies and architectural patterns.
Establish and enforce engineering best practices, design patterns, and quality standards.
Mentor senior engineers and team leads, fostering the next generation of technical leaders.
Solve the most challenging technical problems and act as the ultimate escalation point for critical production issues.
Communicate complex technical concepts and trade-offs to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
