WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:

You will report to the Senior Director, Record-to-Report GPO, and will work cross-functionally with various stakeholders across Finance and Nike Technology:

  • Global Process Owners (GPOs)

  • Finance S/4 Run Organization

  • Nike Technology (ERP and platform teams)

  • Controlling and Finance Leadership

  • Shared Services

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Operating at the intersection of process ownership, ERP execution, and enterprise prioritization, the newly established EPO (ERP Process Optimization) organization translates strategic direction into disciplined execution. As the Principal, Record-to-Report EPO, you will be responsible for owning and advancing the health, stability, and performance of R2R capabilities within Nike’s SAP S/4 HANA environment.

You will play a critical role in stabilizing the ERP, resolving operational and technical issues, and directing where process or capability changes are required to realize the full value of Nike’s ERP investments. You will bring a strong controlling and finance foundation, deep S/4 HANA and ERP landscape knowledge, and the ability to connect strategy, process, data, and technology to drive sustainable outcomes.

This role requires a high degree of judgment, accountability, and collaboration, along with the ability to influence across a complex global stakeholder landscape including Finance, Controlling, Technology, and shared service partners. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity, making prioritization decisions that balance operational stability with transformation objectives.

  • 8+ years of experience in Controlling, Finance Operations, or ERP enabled finance roles

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliant environments

  • Strong SAP S/4HANA and ERP landscape knowledge

  • Experience operating in large, complex, global ERP environments

  • Demonstrated experience working within run model, shared service, or global delivery environments

  • Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across Finance and Technology

  • Proficiency in business communication tools and verbal/written communication to promote conceptual understanding and mobilize change through data driven storytelling

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:

  • Partner with the Finance S/4 Run Organization to ensure effective operational execution, issue triage, and stabilization of S/4 deployed capabilities

  • Drive disciplined prioritization of run, fix, and enhance work to safeguard operational health and business continuity

  • In partnership with the R2R Global Process Owner (GPO), translate SFBS strategic priorities into aligned, executable R2R roadmaps

  • Serve as the appointed R2R representative for Technology S/4 prioritization, ensuring business outcomes, control requirements, and process integrity drive technology decisions

  • Collaborate closely with Technology, ERP platform teams, and Finance stakeholders to deliver enterprise aligned outcomes

  • Ensure system and process changes align with Nike’s long-term architecture, control standards, and enterprise roadmap
