WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a member of the Global Learning & Development team, you will focus on the strategic development of digital learning solutions that serve our NIKE, Inc. teammates across the globe. You will report to the Global L&D Director, Learning Experience. You will partner across the Global L&D team as well as with various functions and HR teams including People Solutions, HR COEs, Business HR, and Subject Matter Experts to optimize opportunities to provide a world-class portfolio of learning solutions. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role in Global L&D designs and implements new learning solutions and serves as the program owner for delivery of high impact digital learning solutions in our Global L&D core program portfolio. This role is integral to deliver on our dedication to equip our Nike teammates to be their best self with a focus on digital learning strategy and content development. We are looking for a team player who provides strategic perspective on the development of digital learning solutions for teammates across the globe. This teammate will leverage their instructional design experience to create learning programs, through cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on digital learning.
  • Strong knowledge of digital learning technologies, platforms, tools and standards.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Workday Learning, including its features, functionalities, and best practices for implementation and utilization and with Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline).
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing digital learning strategies.
  • Proven expertise in digital learning design, instructional design, and leveraging artificial intelligence for L&D or eLearning development.
  • Strong knowledge of UX design principles, mobile learning, and interactive media.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics and AI tools for personalized learning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Strategic:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital learning strategy that aligns with Nike’s overall learning and development goals.
  • Lead the creation of high-impact, digital learning solutions that enhance Nike teammates’ performance and engagement and enable them to be their best.
  • Design and develop engaging digital learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, webinars and other multimedia resources.
  • Identify and implement the latest digital learning technologies and platforms that enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across HR and the business including the Talent COE, Business HR, People Solutions, and Subject Matter Experts to optimize opportunities to provide a world-class portfolio of learning solutions.
  • Manage strategic learning initiatives ensuring key stakeholder engagement, cross functional collaboration and excellent project leadership (quality, issue escalation, budget, and achieve time bound milestones).

Operational:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of digital learning programs and initiatives.
  • Continuously improve learning solutions using data to inform and ensure partners are engaged in upstream/downstream impact of actions.
  • Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness and impact of digital learning programs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in digital learning and development and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve.

Leadership:

  • Build and sustain a strong Nike internal network across HR, key cross-functional partners, and Nike leaders.
  • Serve as a role model of the Nike Maxims, Leadership Defined and HR policies.
  • Build and sustain a strong external network of learning professionals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in digital learning technologies, strategies and design, providing guidance and support to the team and stakeholders.
